Leave the M1 at junction 25 (A52)

Continue on the A52 towards Nottingham.

After the 3^rd roundabout you will pass Nottingham University on the right and a long brick wall on the left, after which you will come to the Ring Road. 

Continue across the ring road, and up Derby Road to Canning Circus. 

Follow the signs to the City Centre, which will bring you along Wollaton Street, and around the one-way system following the signs towards the A612 Southwell. 

You will see the signs to Carlton: follow those (which will bring you up Carlton Road).
