Peter Butcher BA, C.Text, ATI
Peter Butcher is an experienced textile designer
in both warp and weft knitted constructions. He has extensive experience in CAD/CAM
generated designs and structures from the earliest days of the technique, up to current
computer generated garments. With more than 20 years pervious experience as design manager
within the Courtaulds Group, Peter is able to lend his
considerable skills to design problems both aesthetic and structural in fabrics, textile
structures and even surgical implants. He is currently working on the design of a new
repair system for abdominal aortic aneurysms of the main artery
leading from the heart.
